Conducts research on green economy and related policies; eco-civilization, eco-culture, and bamboo culture; forest value accounting and evaluation; and green industrial technologies.

Conducts the promotion and commercialization of the technologies developed by the Research Institute and provides relevant technical consultation and other services.

Supports the work of China Eco-Culture Association, China Bamboo Industry Association and the Bamboo and Rattan Resources Utilization Branch of Chinese Society of Forestry.
