On October 8th, the Awarding Ceremony of the 2019 Beijing Horti-Expo was held in Yanqing, Beijing. Mr. Bernard Oosterom, President of the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH) attended the ceremony. High-level officials from AIPH, the Beijing Horti-Expo committee, the Beijing Municipal People’s Government, National Forestry and Grassland Administration, and China Flower Association were present. Prof. Jiang Zehui, Director of ICBR also attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, a review video of the Beijing Horti-Expo Competition was first played. Mr. Bernard Ostrom then gave a speech and Mr. Tim Blaircliffe announced the results of the competition. Ms. Shanna Evelett, Director of the British Garden spoke on behalf of international exhibitors while Mr. Hu Xia, Director of the Zhejiang Forestry Bureau, spoke on behalf of the Chinese exhibitors. AIPH awarded the National Forestry and Grassland Administration , China Flower Association and the China Council for the Promotion of Trade for Best Contribution, the Beijing Municipal People’s Government for Outstanding Contribution and the Beijing Expo Coordination Bureau Finally for Best Organization.
